The removable magnetic Sensor is the standard Sensor in the Wireless Vibration Meter kit. The unit should be attached to the drive along the line of action of the drive. A small lanyard is included so that the Sensor can be tethered to the Inertial Stroke Transducer cable to prevent loss of the sensor should the magnetic grip be broken. The Sensor has a battery life of up to 10 years depending upon usage. Syntechtron recommend the Sensor be returned to Syntechtron for battery replacement.
